📦 Packaging:

Transport packaging: cellophane
Packaging that looks like plastic
but it's not plastic.

Cellophane is the common name for cellophane.
Cellular glass is a purely natural product made from the renewable raw material cellulose (usually broken wood).

Cellular glass is 100% biodegradable, compostable and dissolves completely without leaving any residue. Cellular glass is also suitable for allergy sufferers and MCS sufferers. Cellular glass is food-safe and contains no plasticizers or coatings.

A thin, colorless and transparent viscose film with the characteristic crackle effect is made from cellophane. This is then used to make our block bottom bags.

Cellular glass is breathable, permeable to water vapor, tasteless and odorless.

The production costs of cellophane block bottom bags are relatively high.
However, if you take into account the follow-up costs compared to eliminating plastic bags,
The cellophane bags perform well.

💡 Tip

Lentils are used in soups, stews,
salads and much more.
Unlike red and yellow lentils, they break down
the green/brownish ones don't when cooking.
The normal cooking time for the lentils is around 60
minutes.
To reduce the cooking time of the lentils can
you can let them soak overnight. Then
the cooking time is only approx. 30 minutes.
As a rule of thumb, you can say that lentils should be cooked in twice the amount of water and the pot should then be no more than two-thirds full.
