The roses of the cisti incani herba are growing on rocky slopes and would be mostly found in the Mediterranean and on the Atlantic coast.
In the Mediterranean, cistus has been used for thousands of years in folk medicine as a remedy, due to the resin in its leaves. This is the reason why the natives on the Greek islands still stick to this tea which has there an old tradition.
