Finest peeled whole sesame, untreated natural product, raw vegetables. Nutty, intense taste. The special, for the refinement of bakery products, for oriental and Asian cuisine, for spicy dishes of all kinds, for purely vegetarian dishes, for desserts, in muesli, in salads.

The approx. 2 mm large seed contains precious ingredients: 50 - 60 percent oil, up to 30 percent protein, approx. 16 percent carbohydrates, vitamin E and vitamins of the B group, especially niacin. Sesame also contains minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron and zinc. The quite high calcium content exceeds that of whole milk per 100 g by more than six times.

Sesame peeled / Sesame unpeeled What is the difference?
The peeled seed has the better quality. You can eat it raw, sprinkle it over salads or pan-fried dishes, or add it to cooked, steamed or baked dishes. Raw peeled, unroasted sesame has the highest nutritional value.
The unpeeled sesame can taste slightly bitter, and is therefore used more for baking and roasting.
Nutrition: Sesame is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and consists of 20 % protein. Sesame is also one of the most selenium-rich foods. Sesame has many important minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin E and B vitamins.

By roasting the seeds, the taste can be further enhanced. Roasted sesame seeds mixed with sea salt is a tasty exotic spice.
