The Quinta - Orange lemon cake with fresh lemon and orange.
A delicious loose cake that tastes sweet and yet very fruity.
With fresh orange and lemon
Preparation time about 75 min
200 g soft butter
350 g flouer
2 tsp baking powder
250 g suger
150 ml milk
75 g icing powder
2 Quinta Oranges
1 Quinta lemon
1.Preheat oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/air circulation: 150 °C/gas: see manufacturer). Grease the pan with butter and dust with flour.
2. sift 350 g flour into a bowl for the batter and mix with baking powder. Add 200 g butter, sugar, eggs, milk and orange zest. Using the whisk of the mixer, mix first to a small dough and then to a smooth dough at the highest speed.
3.fill into the mould, smooth down. Bake the cake on the bottom rail in a hot oven for 50-60 minutes. Approx. 10 minutes before the end of the baking time, use a long wooden stick to check whether the cake is ready.
4.stick still soft dough at the skewer, bake further 5-10 minutes.
5.For the syrup, squeeze out the oranges and lemon. Heat the juices in a pot and dissolve the icing sugar in it. Prick the finished cake several times and sprinkle with syrup. Allow to cool.
6.plunge onto a cake grid. Soak the whole cake again in syrup. Allow to cool.
