The Torrefacto - a special roast
This type of roasting is unique because, during the roasting of the coffee beans, sugar is added.
That gives the coffee its intense, unique and full aroma.
Also, it reduces both, the acidity and the bitterness of the coffee beans.
The process of caramelizing 30% of the beans makes them darker due to the sugar.
Torrefacto coffee is made from a selection of best quality coffee beans.

Durch zufall bin ich in der Schweiz, auf diesen Kaffee gestossen. Wir testen immer wieder alle möglichen Kaffeesorten. Dieser Kaffee ist mein Favorit. Der Kaffee überzeugt durch eine wunderbare Crema, und kräftiges Aroma und wenig Säure. Ich denke, dass die Behandlung der Robusta-Bohnen mit Zucker, das richtige Extrahieren begünstigt. Wir benutzen eine Rocket Cellini Kolbenmaschine mit passender Mühle.
