Ginger-Honey-Lemon Tea

Easy to prepare, made quickly from natural ingredients and strong in effect.
With the very well-known natural ingredients ginger - lemon - honey a light cold or an approaching flu, even without a chemical club, can stand up to. 
The ginger tuber, which is recognised as a medicinal plant in Germany, has an excellent disinfectant effect against the harmful viruses and bacteria. Ginger reduces fever, relieves pain and helps with sore throats and nausea. The lemon with its good vitamin C content strengthens our immune system. The honey does not only provide for a good taste, also it supports our well-being with its Propolisanteil.

In general, ginger tea has a stimulating effect and thus makes a very good start to the day possible even in the morning. It can also be drunk as a healthy alternative to coffee. If a cold is in your suit, ginger tea has a preventive effect. If you are already caught, the drink soothes the symptoms with its antipyretic and analgesic effect.  

You will need half a litre of ginger tea to prepare it: 
1 small ginger root, 1 half lemon, and 1-2 teaspoons honey.  

Clean or peel the ginger root with a knife, cut into thin slices or grate finely. Pour boiling water over the ginger and let it steep for about 10 - 15 minutes. Sieve off the ginger, add the juice of half a lemon and season with a little honey.

Drunk hot in small sips, the ginger stimulates the circulation.
