In 2003, a Danish research group around Larsen identified the active ingredient galactolipid found in the wild rose hip. In 2004, a research group led by Arsalan Kharazmi at the University of Copenhagen confirmed the positive effects of nutritional therapy with rosehip powder.
It contains considerable amounts of vitamin C, provitamin A, B vitamins, plenty of minerals, trace elements, flavonoids, fibre and the active ingredient galactolipid. Rosehip peels are also characterised by a high content of bioactive substances (secondary plant substances), fruit acids and carotenoids (including lycopene and beta-carotene).
The fruit is quite resistant. Its vitamin content is not destroyed by cooking. So you can also add the rose hip powder to the tea. .
