The Indian psyllium seed contains strongly swelling substances (also known as stool softeners), which form a gelatine-like mass with water as insoluble dietary fibres and thus increase in volume.
The application is quite simple. One to two teaspoons of psyllium seeds can be mixed into the food, muesli, or a glass of water (approx. 300ml). How much and how long psyllium seed is taken depends on your condition.
Since the effect can be different for each person, the application should be individually tested and tailored.
In any case, good advice from a doctor, pharmacist or alternative practitioner is recommended. It is fundamentally important that the body is supplied with sufficient liquid (preferably 1 - 2 litres of water) over the period of the flea seed application. If this is not observed, intestinal obstruction may occur in extreme cases.
