Recipe for honey and orange bread
3 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (Item No. 5914)
2 tablespoons orange peel (code 6681)
1 cup orange blossom herb honey (item 070)
2 tbsp sesame oil (item 3716)
1/2 cup of orange juice
3/4 cup chopped walnut kernels (Item No. 2490)
1 egg yolk
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, orange peel in a bowl. In a measuring cup mix the orange juice, honey, sesame oil and stir in the dry ingredients until the dough becomes supple. Carefully knead the nuts together and form the dough into a ball. Wrap in cling film and allow to rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. Put the dough in a greased tin box and brush over the battered egg yolk.
Baking time: approx. 65 min.
Serve the bread still warm with orange marmalade and / or cheese.
