Dried dates Deglet Nour without stone. Untreated natural product. The golden to amber dates have a juicy, firm flesh. They taste fruity sweet with a pleasant honey-caramel taste. They contain more fibre than wholemeal bread and more potassium than bananas. They are rich in nutrients and fibre and contain many vital vitamins (A, D, B1 and B2) and minerals (calcium, iron and phosphorus). They also contain a lot of fructose and therefore provide energy very quickly.
Dates are dried in the sun, therefore also suitable for raw food. The fruits should be stored in a cool and dry place.
Recipe dates in bacon coat
Wrap a thin slice of bacon around the dates. Stick with a wooden skewer and fry all around until the bacon is brown.
Delicious as a starter or as a snack.
