Latin: Tabebuiae Cort. conc.
Botanical: Tabebuia impetiginosa (Mart.exDC.) Standl
The sought-after Lapacho tea is made from the Lapacho tree of the same name. The Indians call this tree the “Tree of Life.”
In general, high quality lapacho tea is considered a refreshing drink without caffeine, but with a high content of important minerals and trace elements, such as: B. potassium, calcium and iron. It tastes earthy with a slightly sweet vanilla note.
The tea is made from the inner bark of red lapacho trees, which is wild-collected in Brazil. It is reddish to light brown in color and tastes interesting because it is slightly sweet and strong at the same time.
This tea proves to be a real alternative to mate and oolong tea for fasting and detoxification, as it also satisfies hunger a little.
