The Tangerine Ortanique is a cross between mandarin and orange. The name is a combination of (Or)ange, (Tan)gerine and "drangreif" (un-ique), which means unique. This delightful fruit is the size and appearance of small to medium oranges. The inside of the fruit is structured like a tangerine. The fruits are robust and have only a few seeds.

Here you buy directly from the farmer.
We are one of the few producers who actually own and work their own citrus plantation! From planting and caring for the trees, to harvesting the fruit, to shipping the fruit directly to your home.
What can you look forward to:

❤️What we care about❤️
To be clear again: our natural fruits that we send to you are generally not available at this level of ripeness, without ethylene fumigation and without toxic anti-mold immersion baths. And for a good reason:
As a producer, we lose a significant portion of our production due to late harvesting. One or the other fruit may not be able to “make it” during transport, and in your case the fine line between ripe fruit and natural decay becomes visible.
However, the taste is convincing!
Be clear. You order natural fruits, not industrial goods. We do not fight the natural coexistence that should exist in an ecosystem. With us you will not find a monoplantation, but a large "garden" in harmony with nature. An oasis for people and animals. It is therefore important to store the fruit well, cool (1-6°C refrigerator) and dry.
You will really taste the love we put into growing our fruits. ❤
💡 Tip

History:
There is no complete agreement about this fruit. But it is said that the name Tangerine, formerly known as Tangor, comes from the fact that the first fruits were shipped via the port in Tangier (Morocco).
