It is said to be one of the best peppers in the world.
A natural (wild) pepper from the Periyar National Park nature reserve in southern India.
The farmers let the pepper ripen for a long time, so the grains are larger, have a shiny surface and more essential oils, which in turn release a variety of fine aromas when ground. Spicy in taste with a fruity note.
