Long pepper was the first pepper species to reach the Mediterranean. Sharp, slightly sweet taste, the exotic from Indian and Ayurvedic cuisine.
It can be used anywhere black pepper is suitable. After grilling, adding some to the still warm meat releases wonderful aromas and is a real eye-catcher.
