For couscous, curries, tandoori chicken, chili com carne, with cheese, red cabbage, for Thai, North African and Indonesian cuisine, intense and unmistakable taste.
Cumin contains 2.5 to 6% essential oil with the main component cuminaldehyde, as well as 10 to 15% fat. The effects of the essential oil are very similar to those of caraway.
